Hi guys, given the current situation in the country with the cost of tomatoes, I decided to hook you guys with a foolproof recipe. Best thing about this recipe is the fact that it’s very affordable it costs less than #1,000 to make, great right? This recipe is so easy the result is delicious and you would not be able to tell the difference between this and fresh tomatoes stew. I used fish but you can use protein you like e.g chicken, beef etc.

So I was visiting with one of my aunties whose husband is a pork lover but her and the kids not so much. But still there are always different parts of pork in their freezer for just one person to consume, so I decided to help out and raid the freezer. *winks.  ;) 

I had couple of leftover chicken wings in my freezer and decided to make a quick and easy chicken wings recipe to share with you guys.

Fisherman’s Soup (Esem Fu lo)

Welcome to the New Year guys!!!

I decided to kick this year off with one of my favorite soup recipe from the Nigerian cuisine I grew up on this soup lol, my great grand ma used to make it a lot. It originated from the south-south, now there are different variations of this particular soup because of the main ingredient which is cocoyam. The one I am sharing now is from Rivers state it’s quite popular among the Kalabaris and the Okrikans. I hope you enjoy is as much as I do and have a taste of my childhood.

 This recipe if absolutely perfect for when you want to have something different, it’s great for weeknights dinner, with a well prepped table and a couple of candles you would have a fancy thingy going on lol.

I know it’s been a while I posted any new recipe and I would like to apologize for that, it was due to circumstances beyond my control, I am truly sorry.  What other way to get back in the game other than the famous Ofada Stew huh? Lol.
